Titanoboa is a genus of giant, prehistoric snake. It is one of the largest snakes of all time.

When the A.R.C team arrived at the harbour, they saw the Titanoboa (which they didn't know at the time) swimming toward a boat

and thought it would attack it, but to their relief, it swam past it.
Abby later tracked the Titanoboa to a nearby underwater cave and Matt had Captain Becker and Darren track the snake by mini-sub. They navigated the mini-sub through the cave until they were briefly attacked by the snake. They later flushed the snake out of the cave and back to the harbour, where it stuck its head out of the water, allowing Connor to get a positive identification on it.
Later, when Becker and Darren leave the mini-sub and board a coast guard vessel, the Titanoboa attacked the boat, causing everyone to abandon ship. Becker and Darren boarded a cargo ship docked at the harbour and later met up with Jack and Darren's mother, Eve. However, the Titanoboa attacked them and even with the arrival of the rest of the team, their EMDs did little to deter the snake and it tried to kill Darren. However, the roar of a nearby fishing boat caught its attention, prompting it to attack the boat and kill everyone on board.

Later, when Emily, Abby, Jack, and Eve are locking the anomaly, the Titanoboa swam over to them and caused a tense staredown. However, a man on a motorboat passes by, catching the giant snake's attention and causing it to attack the motorboat. The team could only watch in horror as the snake kills the man before swimming away. However, the sound of an incoming battleship's engines attracts the snake and as it heads towards the battleship, it goes back through the anomaly.
