Primeval: The Reboot Wiki

"My name is Angelika Finch. I am the civilian director of Project Magnet, a top secret military organization investigating rips in time known as anomalies. These anomalies allowed long-extinct creatures to come into our own and and wreak havoc in the present. Our job is to learn what we can about them and contain them. One week ago, an anomaly appeared at the Britannia Beach Copper Mine, and Project Magnet was deployed to rescue two members of the Special Project Group. They were successfully brought back, along with two men from the ARC and the Albertosaurus that killed Evan's wife, but after being told of the consequences of messing with the anomalies, the two men were sent back and the Albertosaurus was freed. Evan Cross, Dylan Weir, and Mac Rendell followed the Albertosaurus through the anomaly to ensure that it arrived in 2006 and history plays out as it should. However, while they were still inside, the anomaly suddenly closed, marooning all three of them in the past. No one knows what happened to them, and all attempts at rescue have failed, but as the timeline appears intact, it is assumed that they've succeeded. Many changes were made to Project Magnet, and the Special Project Group was allowed to continue their independent operation. The battle continues, and as new threats appear, we'll deal with them, hoping that one day, the three of them will return."
